The West Indies men’s side is rearing to go in their warm-up match tonight against United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
Their coach, Phil Simmons, kept the squad busy in training at the match venue, Junction Oval in Melbourne, ahead of the game, which bowls off at 8:00 p.m., Barbados time.
West Indies won the T20 World Cup in 2012 against hosts Sri Lanka, and in 2016 when they defeated England in India.
West Indies are going into this year’s showdown at number seven in the T20I rankings. UAE are ranked 13th, and this is their second T20 World Cup.
