Ronald “Suki” King has dropped two places in the ongoing draughts world qualifier in Turkey.
The former undisputed world champion started the fourth round yesterday tied in third spot on eight points, but only managed one point to put him on nine, which dropped him in the standings to ninth.
Right behind Suki is another Barbadian – Jack Francis. He got two points from round four to move from six points to eight, and move up from 11th to 10th place.
Kent Layne has also elevated up the standings. He registered four points to move from three to seven points, and from 19th place to 16th.
Leading the world qualifier is still the Russian pair of Melikaya Nonyukela and Vuyani Mazibuko.
