Maintenance key to safeguarding new Ryan Brathwaite Track

With the recent completion of the new Ryan Brathwaite Track at the Usain Bolt Complex, the onus is now on the UWI to ensure that it is maintained.

Head of the UWI Academy of Sport, Dr. Rudolph Alleyne says systems are in place for persons to be trained in its upkeep.

There are a few more areas that will be in need of upgrade at the Complex – the stands in particular – and that will be addressed in future plans.

The Track will also be available for athletes to train.
