Fast-rising Barbadian draughts player Kent Layne is heading to Germany next week to compete in a Three Move Restriction World Qualifier Tournament.
Layne says he has been hard at work preparing for the competition which gets going on September 24.
Joining Layne at the world qualifier in Germany will be grand master Jack Francis.
The winner will qualify to play champion Sergio Scarpetta of Italy for the world title next year.
