Barbadian Rasheeme Griffith finished 5th in the finals of the Men’s 400 metre hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Austin, Texas last night.
Running in lane three, Griffith, a junior at the University of Tennessee, finished in 49.17 seconds, way below his national record semifinal effort of 49 seconds flat.
Chris Robinson of Alabama won the event in a school and facility record time of 48.12 seconds.
