Barbados collected several medals at the I.K.D. 4th Karate World Cup at the National Gymnasium in Guyana.
Among them was a winning performance by the team of Kaela Austin, Rochelle Jones and Kiara Browne, winning a gold medal with a solid performance of Heian Godan.
The women’s 20 to 39 team of Shannan Skeete, Ayesha Harewood and Ric-Anne Brathwaite carried off silver in the Team Kata and Team Bunkai.
And in the men’s 20 to 39 team of Sheridan Greaves, Joseph Tseu and Nicholas Blackman won silver in Kata and Bunkai.
