Barbados sit second in the standings of the Cricket West Indies Rising Stars Men’s under-19 50-over Championship, being played in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Bajan boys defeated Guyana by nine wickets in their round four clash.
Sent into bat, Guyana under-19s were bowled out for 58 runs off 33.4 overs, thanks to three wickets apiece from Nathan Sealy, Kyron King and Zishan Motara.
In reply, Barbados under-19s scored 61 for one off 7.5 overs, led by an unbeaten 28 from Zion Brathwaite and 23 not out from Joshua Morris.
Barbados under-19s will face Leeward Islands under-19s in the final round on Tuesday.
