As Barbados braces for impending weather within the next 48 hours, Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is urging Barbadians to be prepared and be vigilant.
Tropical Depression 2 formed in the eastern Atlantic this afternoon, and is forecast to affect the island late Sunday night (June 30) into Monday (July 1).
In a video statement tonight, the Prime Minister says she met with various Government departments and agencies earlier today to ensure they are ready for any eventualities.
She has also urged Barbadians to look out for others in their communities.
