The tropical wave was located near 62W south of 15N as of 5:00 a.m. today.
The Barbados Meteorological Services says overnight, the system remained unchanged in its overall structure, being rather disorganized with most of the deep convection remaining to the east and southeast of the axis.
Precipitation accumulation across the island during the night was rather low as a result of the system’s disorganized structure.
Additionally, winds across Barbados have decreased to near 25 mph, from an earlier peak of 40 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph.
The BMS says in light of these improvements and the disorganized structure of the system, this will be the final statement on this feature.
