Political Scientist Peter Wickham is surprised by the ruling of the General Council of the Democratic Labour Party to expel former President Dr. Ronnie Yearwood and former General Secretary Steve Blackett.
The decision, which was made and announced last night, comes after both men were on suspension.
Mr. Wickham notes the fallout from this development will affect the party’s chances of returning to government.
