The Barbados Meteorological Services continues to monitor an area of disturbed weather, which is associated with an elongated area of low pressure located some 100 miles or 160 kilometers to the east of Barbados at noon today.
During the morning, there has been no significant change to the overall structure of the system. Convection continues to fluctuate and the system remains elongated and poorly organized.
Some slow development of this system is possible as it moves towards the west-northwest near 10 to 15 mph. Current forecast tracks indicate that the center of the area of low pressure should pass north of Barbados late this afternoon.
