Water woes are a thing of the past for farmers in the Ministry of Agriculture’s Farmers Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Drive.
This from Minister of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security Indar Weir.
He says water tankers from the Barbados Water Authority have been deployed in some areas.
He says the farmers at Mount Poyer, St. Lucy are producing and attention has been turned to the development at Lears.
The Minister says greenhouses are already in place and more are in the works.
