Virgin Atlantic has made history, flying the first transatlantic flight powered by 100% sustainable aviation fuel.
The Boeing 7-87 took off from London today and headed to New York.
Virgin Atlantic says it uses 70 tons of fuel made mostly from waste cooking oils and animal fat.
This flight was a demonstration and did not carry any paying passengers, because the fuels are so new.
Current regulations prohibit airlines from using a blend of more than 50% sustainable aviation fuel.
However, U-K Civil Aviation Authority gave a special permit for this test.
