A top official of the University of the West Indies wants to see young people taking more educational risks and seizing opportunities presented to them with both hands.
Chancellor of the University of the West Indies Robert Bermudez says now is the time to make the best of business opportunities as the state of the region is the best it has ever been.
Mr. Bermudez urged the graduands not to be discouraged or distracted by challenges they may face as they have youth on their side.
The UWI Chancellor made the point as he addressed the 2023 Cave Hill Campus Graduation Ceremony for the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The valedictorian for this year’s ceremony was Rahym R. Augustin-Joseph.
Mr. Bermudez says the use of technology will play a huge part in the future of business and with it will come many opportunities.
