With June being declared Caribbean American Heritage Month, the USA continues to celebrate the contributions and diverse culture of Barbadians and Caribbean nationals.
Some insight will be provided into the life of one of those leaders, Barbados’ Father of Independence, the Right Excellent Errol Walton Barrow, through the film “Barrow: Freedom Fighter”.
The Event, set for June 13, will be narrated by former Attorney General of the USA, Eric Holder Jr.
Several other activities are also planned.
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Caribbean Affairs and Haiti at the US State Department, Barbara Feinsten says the US views Caribbean nations as vital partners, friends and neighbours.
