UPDATE: Forde granted bail

29-year-old Sherwin Leroy Forde, who was charged with several offences, including ” Dishonestly Assisted in the Disposal – of a motor car valued at $19,000.00,” was granted bail when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on Wednesday.

Forde was not required to plead to the disposal charge when he appeared in the District ‘F’ Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail at a sum of $8,000.00. He is scheduled to reappear at the District ‘B’ Magistrate’s Court on October 11, 2024, in relation to this matter.

He pleaded not guilty to the drug-related charges. Those charges are Possession of Cannabis, Intent to Supply Cannabis and Trafficking. He was granted bail at a sum of $4,000.00 and is to reappear at the District ‘B’ Magistrate’s Court on October 3, 2024.
