The Barbados Police Service has confirmed that a child was shot during an incident at 1st Avenue, Lower Carlton, St James.
Police Public Affairs and Communications Officer, Inspector Rodney Inniss, confirmed that a 6-year-old girl was injured during the shooting incident which left a 20-year-old man dead.
The incident occurred minutes before 10 a.m.
