The Barbados Police Service is advising the public of traffic management arrangements which will be put in place for the Grand Rehearsal for Remembrance Day.
The rehearsal will be held at Heroes Square, the City, on Sunday, November 3, between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
From 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic:
- Trafalgar Street
- Rickett Street
- High Street
- Wharf Road
- Upper Broad Street
During that time, Broad Street from its junction with Prince William Henry Street to its junction with High Street will also be closed
Motorists will not be allowed to travel from Fairchild Street on to the Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge.
In addition, parking will not be permitted in the following areas:
- Belmont Road
- Constitution Road
- Martindale’s Road
- St. Michael Row
- Bridge Street
- Trafalgar Street
- Magazine Lane
- Coleridge Street
- Palmetto Street
- Rickett Street
Members of the public using any of the specified roads are advised to exercise caution and comply with any order given by police personnel in uniform.
