The local farming community is reporting tonight that it did not have the best of years.
That’s the word from Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society James Paul.
He says the year was extremely difficult due to weather changes which caused a shortage in supplies.
Mr. Paul also listed some of the other situations that caused challenges but applauded the industry for showing resilience this year.
He says for 2024 he hopes things will be better.
Mr. Paul also hopes that a state of the art vet lab can be introduced for the agricultural sector.
