Supporters welcome MPs to Parliament ahead of Budget

Prior to the delivery of the Budget, supporters gathered outside of Parliament to greet the MPs, in what has become a tradition.

They were given a high-energy welcome as they made their way into the Chamber.

Onlookers said it brought back memories of a bygone era, when the Parliament Yard was the preferred place to be on Budget Day.
