Change is coming to the Barbados sugar industry and its future is in safe hands.
The revelation came from Chairman of Co-op Energy, Lt. Col. Trevor Browne as sugar industry stakeholders sat down for a strategy meeting at the portvale factory today ahead of the 2024 sugar harvest.
The sugar industry has been divested and two companies have been created to manage the operations.
