The Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology is committed to helping people create innovators in society.
That’s the message from Principal Ian Drakes in an address at the institute’s 55th-anniversary church service and wreath-laying ceremony at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church.
He says through the diverse curriculum the institution has been able to hone the skills and raw talent of young Barbadians to take them to world-class standards.
Mr. Drakes says the new SJPI has also given children belief in themselves and their competencies.
