Independent Senator Crystal Drakes believes the taxing of pensions needs to be looked at as part of changes to the National Insurance Scheme.
During Debate on the National Insurance and Social Security (Amendment) Bill 2023 in the Senate, she noted she also believes efforts should be made to encourage people to invest in private pension plans.
