With the global rum industry estimated at over 14 billion dollars this year, a local player is being encouraged to go after a bigger stake of the market.
That was the challenge thrown out to the West Indies Rum Distillery yesterday, during its 130th anniversary celebrations.
Issuing the call was Senior Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Dr. William Duguid.
