Diagnostic assessments, single-sex classrooms and more male teachers at primary schools are among suggestions being made for education reform in Barbados.
Those ideas were presented by veteran educator John Goddard, as he delivered the 27th John Cumberbatch Memorial Lecture.
While he agrees with the calls for the common entrance to go, Mr. Goddard has shared a plan for how the new secondary system could be designed.
