Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says it’s costing about two million dollars for less than one kilometre of road in the Scotland District.
The state of roads was among the concerns raised by residents during last evening’s St. Joseph Speaks.
Prime Minister Mottley assured residents she is conscious of their needs.
She says similar to issues with water, resolving them takes time.
During the session, we also heard that Government has had to prioritise work in parts of St. Joseph in order to stabilise lands, due to slippage.
Residents were told by Deputy Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw though several projects were planned, officials had to respond to emergency work as a result of heavy rainfall in the latter part of the year.
