Regional Parliamentarians urged to work together

Barbados and Caribbean Parliamentarians have been challenged to work together to improve the functioning of their respective Houses of Parliament and cooperate in counteracting global challenges.

Speaker of the House of Assembly, His Honour Arthur Holder says Parliaments have to be made more effective and meaningful so as to regain the trust of the populace.

He was at the time addressing the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s 46th Conference of the Caribbean, the Americas, and the Atlantic region in Guyana.
