The Barbados Water Authority is advising residents of St. George, St. John and St. Philip districts recently affected by water outages, that its station in St. John is back online.
In a statement, the BWA says checks made early this morning revealed that the turbidity at the facility had cleared significantly.
This means the water quality is now good enough for pumping to resume.
The Water Authority says during the day, all previously affected areas should benefit from a return to normal water pressure.
Water tankers will continue to assist customers in the affected areas in the interim if necessary.
The BWA has apologised for the inconvenience and thanks residents for their continued patience
