A 19-year-old prisoner has escaped from Police custody while at the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital yesterday Sunday, September 1, 2024.
He is Rashad Kangalee of McClean Road, Silver Sands, Christ Church, who was in custody in connection with a series of serious matters.
The prisoner requested to use the bathroom and while doing so escaped through the bathroom’s window.
Police say searches were made of the area but he was not found and a wanted man bulletin has been issued.
Anyone who has seen this individual or has any knowledge of where he might be hiding is encouraged to contact Police Emergency at 211 or any police station or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 8477.
The public is reminded that it is an offence to harbour any Wanted Person or an escaped prisoner.
