Minister of State in the Attorney General’s Office with responsibility for Crime Prevention, Corey Lane suggests there’s a general understanding among Barbadians of the work being undertaken in the crime fight.
Amid the naysayers, he says a lot of Barbadians are happy with the improvements.
Mr. Lane was a guest on CBC TV8’s Morning Report.
He says a recent peace initiative is holding.
Progress is being recorded with the community crime intervention programmes launched through the Office of the Attorney General.
Just under a third of the proposed 150 measures have been implemented.
