Participants in two police courses – the Court Prosecutors and the Enhanced Constables Development courses – have been urged to constantly think beyond the boundaries of their daily duties to help make themselves more effective in their professions.
The encouragement has come from Jefferson Clarke, Assistant Commissioner of Police with Responsibility for Human Resources and Administration.
He made the remarks during the closing ceremony for the two courses at the Regional Police Training Centre (RPTC).
Speaking on behalf of the participants in the Enhanced Constables Development Course, Constable Jare Alleyne of the Barbados Police Service said the five-week training exercise was invaluable. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Commander Desiree Corneille of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, spoke on behalf of the participants in the Court Prosecutors Course.
