Police officers in Barbados have been reminded times have changed and they must be creative in their policing approaches.
The advice from Assistant Commissioner of Police with Responsibility for Administration Jefferson Clarke who told officers policing initiatives must remain relevant and effective.
Mr. Clarke’s comments came during the 2022 Awards Ceremony at the Police Band headquarters at the District A complex at Station Hill, St. Michael where over 100 from their ranks were recognised for their service.
Some 125 awards, including Barbados Service Medals and Commendation Awards were presented.
Commissioner of Police, Richard Boyce impressed on officers to continue to give of their best. He says honour, duty and service are dear to the Police Service.
