Police officers responding to minor accidents and fender benders on the island’s roads could soon become a thing of the past.
Attorney General Dale Marshall tells CBC News his Ministry is exploring the possibility as manpower has been a perennial issue for the Police Service.
His comments come as it launches a new recruitment drive.
Currently just over 1250 officers make up the ranks of the Barbados Police Service.
