Government spending will not be increasing by more than a billion dollars in the new financial year.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says the figure shared in a press release on Tuesday from the Ministry of Finance was an error.
She provided the correct number during a tour of several recently repaired roads yesterday afternoon.
Prime Minister Mottley has also responded to critics of Government’s borrowing.
