Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has addressed the situation in Gaza calling it a travesty.
Speaking at a press conference this morning following her return from the Saudi Arabia-CARICOM Summit, she says the situation is perhaps the first televised genocide and pointed to the lack of access of water and fuel affecting innocent babies, children and adults.
While optimistic peace will come, she has asked Barbadians to pray for both sides.
Meanwhile Prime Minister of St. Vincent and Grenadines, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves also attended that press conference and weighed in on the situation.
With over 11,000 deaths recorded, he says the situation is wrong.
