Overwhelming response to National Summer Camps

With days to go before the National Summer Camps are opened, officials say the response has been overwhelming.

Special Projects Coordinator with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Development, Kirk Brown, revealed some camps have been over-subscribed, many already booked, with space remaining at only a few.

Interested parents and guardians are encouraged to visit the Ministry for updates on available camps.

Close to 50 of them will be catering to approximately 3-thousand-500 young people and camps will be held from July 22nd to August 23rd, 2024. The National Summer Camps will focus on the theme, “A New Hope, Developing Technology In A New Age”.

Mr Brown says support from businesses and volunteers is welcomed.
