Overseas growth

Agriculture Minister and Member of Parliament for St Philip South, Indar Weir, has announced a new programme that will involve the growing of produce for local consumption, overseas.

He says through programmes with Guyana and Venezuela, Barbadian farmers will get the opportunity to cultivate land in those countries, to send back food which cannot be grown locally.
