A plea for care and compassion from motorists for workers conducting road repairs and maintenance.
Officer in Charge of Road Markings in the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources, Kirk Marshall suggests this is lacking and motorists need to pay greater attention.
His comment comes as teams from the Ministry have been hard at work day and night, in an effort to wrap up the annual school crossing remarking programme.
90% of the pedestrian crossings near and outside of schools have been remarked.
Mr. Marshall said the programme commenced in the second half of August and they were hoping to wrap up soon.
