Young Barbadians have been advised they can change the public’s perception of them through their positive deeds.
This from The Lodge School Principal, Stephen Jackman, as the school recognised five outstanding 6th Form students who not only attained academic success, but are being hailed as examples for others to follow.
He says the five have started on their journey to make Barbados a better place.
The five awardees – Reann Dottin, Mario Ince, Alexis Belgrave, Aaliyah Ollivierre and Kymani Jordan – were rewarded with monetary contributions ranging from $500 to $3000 along with a plaque during an awards ceremony on Wednesday.
The Principal encouraged other students to strive to do good and counter the negatives being portrayed about youth.
