Female entrepreneurs from Barbados stand to benefit as market opportunities are created with the launch of the She-Trades Regional Hub in the Caribbean.
The initiative is a collaborative two-year programme supported by the International Trade Centre and is being implemented by the Caribbean Development Bank.
With 14 hubs across 30 countries, She-Trades operates to champion quality data, secure government contracts, strike business deals and enable market access.
Through the hub, the ITC will champion more inclusive growth and empower women entrepreneurs to succeed in global markets.
Executive Director Pamela Coke-Hamilton says the region has potential and is confident the hub will help with the growth of businesses.
