The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training is advising parents and guardians of students at the Ellerslie School that classes will be conducted online on Friday, March 8, 2024.
In a release, the Ministry says this is to facilitate cleaning, which is being carried out at the school.
It states that on the recommendation of the contractor, only the units working on the school should be present to get the work completed in time for Monday, March 11, 2024.
The Ministry says it regrets any inconvenience caused.
