Local health officials say there’s no need for panic in Barbados after two cases of monkeypox were found in the neighbouring Trinidad and Tobago.
Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anton Best says all the necessary guidelines and protocols have been shared with medical personnel to detect cases.
He adds local health authorities have been on alert and have dealt with some possible cases.
