New technology to help track students’ development

Government is embracing new technology to better track the development of students as well as gauge the skill level of teachers within the classrooms setting.

This from Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training Kay McConney.

She says the introduction of this new data analytics technology from Google should make for better monitoring to ensure targetted interventions by the Ministry are attained.

Minister McConney made the remarks today during the launch of Google Workspace for Education Plus in Barbados.

She described the technology as a game changer, noting it would help bridge the gap between online and classroom learning.
