A significant step is being taken in education in Barbados with the launch of the Barbados Network of Chemistry Teachers.
Lecturer in Synthetic and Organic Chemistry at the UWI Dr. Jeanese Badenock says among the goals is to inspire a new cadre of scientists in Barbados and beyond.
Head of Biology and Chemistry, Professor Avril Williams says it’s important for the development of chemistry teachers, but the road ahead is riddled with challenges.
