Need to enhance public health care system

The time has come for Barbados to enhance its public health care system.

This is according to former Minister of Health Lieutenant Colonel the Most Honourable Jeffrey Bostic who says there are a number of legacy items following the COVID-19 Pandemic that must be implemented to bolster the island’s medical sector.

And he suggests Barbados moves towards a National Health Care System shared between both public and private sectors.

Lt. Colonel Bostic was speaking during the signing of his book ‘No Retreat No Surrender’ at Pages Bookstore.

Moreover, Lt. Colonel Bostic says regional cooperation and collaboration also need to be strengthened.
