A national agricultural census is to be conducted in Barbados.
That’s the word from Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security, Terry Bascombe.
He says the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO)will be assisting Barbados in this regard.
The revelation was made during an FAO Senior Officers Meeting.
According to Mr. Bascombe, the agency has been working with Barbados in several areas and he extended gratitude for all the work undertaken.
