Murder accused remanded

A 21 year old man accused of murder has been remanded to prison.

He is Kadeem Jason Phillips of Lascelles Terrace, Pinelands, St. Michael.

He has been charged with murdering 29 year old Che Gibbons on Monday, March 21st.

Lawmen say they received a report about a stabbing incident at Harbour View, Pinelands, St. Michael around 8:40 p.m.

On arrival, the deceased was found lying motionless with several wounds to his body.

Phillips was not required to plead when he appeared in Criminal Court #1 today, before Magistrate Manila Renee.

He will return to court on April 22nd.
