Murder accused heading to court

The Barbados Police Service Anti-Gun and Gangs Unit (District ‘E’), arrested and formally charged 26-year-old Jahlanny Tremaine Yarde, of 6B Silver Hill Drive, Christ Church, for several offences including murder.

He is jointly charged with Tynone Alex Searles for the murder of Zakhir Goodridge on June 12, 2024.

The full lists of charges from Anti-Gun and Gangs Unit are:

•Unlawful Possession of a Firearm – on the 30th August, 2024

•Unlawful Possession of Ammunition – on the 30th August, 2024

•Assault – Rico Clarke on the 30th August, 2024

The Barbados Police Service Criminal Investigations Department (South), formally charged Yarde, for the following offences:

•Endangering Life – of Jonathan Griffith on the 26th March, 2024

•Robbery – Kaliyah Kirton on the 26th March, 2024

•Unlawful use of Firearm –  on the 26th March, 2024

•Brandishing a Firearm – on the 26th March, 2024

•Jointly harged with Tynone Alex Searles for, Murder – of Zakhir Goodridge on the 12th June, 2024

Searles is scheduled to appear before Magistrate Deidre McKenna in the Oistins Magistrate Courts today, Monday, September 16, 2024.
