St. Thomas MP, Cynthia Forde is concerned about the methods workmen are using to remove clay from an area in her constituency to place at the Mangrove Pond Landfill.
She wants officials to investigate the matter as she fears the indiscriminate removal of the earth could eventually mushroom into a disaster as the site is situated in the Scotland District, which is prone to slippage.
Ms. Forde also revealed developments have left her uneasy.
