More opportunities are being created for women to join the ranks of The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) as part of a major expansion project at the Regional Police Training Centre.
The government is investing $10 million in the construction of two new dormitories to enhance the centre’s capacity, particularly to accommodate more female recruits.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held today at the Seawell, Christ Church facility to mark the start of the project.
